The Kettle River Museum presents its first annual outdoor Art Show and Sale on Saturday, August 16, 2025. This event features a variety of arts, and if you are artsy or crafty, we want you to apply! ***This event is for local artists only, from the RDKB Area E, West Boundary (Big White) and the Village of Midway and City of Greenwood.
Acceptance is based on the quality, originality, and craftsmanship of the work to be sold. All artists are required to read our guidelines for application.
All work must be designed/created and executed/produced by the artist.
This is an outdoor market-style event, rain or shine, and artists must provide their own substantial tent and weights (no attaching to infrastructure).
This event runs from 10 am to 4pm. We do not provide power and the set up is in the museum’s fenced grounds.
Artists are responsible for their display area including set up and take down, tables and chairs. The artist must be onsite at all times (except washroom or food breaks). Set up can begin from 8:30 am.
The allocation of spaces will be at the discretion of the organizer. Consideration will be taken to not place similar artists next to one another.
Participants are encouraged to use their social media accounts to
spread the word and share the experience. Please follow Kettle River Museum on IG and FB.

All spaces are approximately 10 x 10 feet.
August 1: applications are due.
August 2: acceptance emails will be sent out to the artists. For late entries, acceptance emails will be sent out as
artists are accepted. Alternatively, artists will be notified of their placement on a waitlist.
August 5: artist entry fee of $15 for a museum membership is due. Funds should be e-transfered to kettlerivermuseum@shaw.ca or a cheque mailed to: Kettle River Museum, with “art show” written on the notes section of the cheque
Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be given, however, we hope you give us enough notice to find an artist to replace your space.
Set-up times, instructions, and other pertinent information will be sent out immediately with acceptance.
